Take care of your body as it supports your baby

Have a more comfortable pregnancy.

Dr. Evans and the Webster Technique can help relieve and prevent the pain of carrying and delivering your baby.

During pregnancy, your body does so much to help you and your baby prepare for delivery. The food of hormones and additional weight often cause excruciating back pain and other uncomfortable issues.

Dr. Evans can help you get ready for birth and feel better without drugs. She is certified in the Webster Technique, a specific method of chiropractic analysis and adjustment that:

  • reduces stress to the nervous system,

  • balances pelvic floor muscles and ligaments, and

  • prepares a mother's body for healthy labor and delivery.

What does typical treatment look like?

Sarah usually begins working with mothers-to-be in the first trimester. You'll work together to create a treatment plan that fits your body and the needs of your growing family.

The Webster Technique typically includes maintenance adjustments throughout your pregnancy. Frequency depends on how your body is coping with the pregnancy, and how far along you are. Once you reach about 36 weeks, Sarah recommends more frequent visits to prepare your pelvis for an easier delivery.

Sarah also likes to see you after the baby arrives. This postpartum visit helps your body recover from delivery and prepares you to enjoy motherhood.
